Job Summary
  • Job Position: Construction Project Manager

  • Job Location: 21 Hartzel Rd Unit A, Saint Catherines, ON, L2P 1M3
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, direct, and manage construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
  • Schedule projects in logical steps and budgets time required to meet deadlines.
  • Plan and ensure the efficient use of labour, machines and materials used by the workers and sub-trades.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with engineers, customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Supervise the activities of workers and sub-trades onsite.
  • Ensure all workers and anyone entering the job site follows appropriate health and safety procedures and wears appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Ensure all hired sub-trades have appropriate health and safety documentations.
  • Participate in the conceptual development of the project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation.
  • Communicate with all projects representatives and provide progress schedules to customers in a timely manner.
  • Monitor project progress and costs and provide regular progress reporting to the senior project manager.

Job Requirements:

Job Requirements
  • A university degree in civil engineering is required.
  • 5 years’ experience in the construction industry as a project manager is required.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional work environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of glass installation is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented and able to analyze and troubleshoot customer issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
