Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Worker is responsible for operating various machines and equipment for production, packaging, and material handling of abrasive material. This is a new contract position. The hourly pay is $20.00 CAD.
Responsibilities
Operate bagging machines to fill various sized bags of abrasives
Lifting bagged product up to 55lbs on a regular basis
Unload and fill product silos
Basic machine troubleshooting
Wrap final skids and ensure properly labeled
Complete material tracking, and final product paperwork
Maintain clean and safe working areas
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
Comply with all Health & Safety related policies, procedures, and safe work practices
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
High attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills
