We are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager.
General Responsibilities: The Operations Manager provides managerial leadership to supervisors and direction to the organization to meet customer goals and expectations in support of the company’s policies and Contract Manager’s objectives. This individual ensures productivity levels are reached in an effective and efficient manner, maintains quality performance objectives and assist in cost control programs. Monitors operational progress and customer relations. Manages staffing and training issues and administers discipline. Performs special projects as required by the Contract Manager. Must be versed on safety and compliance issues and provide operational support for contract.
Responsibilities are accomplished by: • Development and implementation of effective and efficient operation plans. • Assist Contract Management with outside transportation suppliers. • Promotes the maintenance of a quality system.
Experience: Qualified candidates will have 4+ years’ supervisory experience in a transportation/operational environment, strong computer skills and the ability to interact with customers and employees.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a plus for logistics or transportation.
