| Software Test Specialist (STS)
Description:
The STS is responsible for performing extensive testing and validation of all products, prior to their release to the customer. The STS works in close association with the development team, providing an additional level of both manual and automated testing that is invaluable to ensuring the superior caliber of our products and the adherence to our quality system.
Who is the ideal Software Test Specialist candidate?
an individual with a strong desire for quality, an attention to detail and the ability communicate effectively.
a detail-oriented team player who is skilled at thinking outside of the box, and who thrives on the challenge of thoroughly testing software applications in an attempt to find any possible bug or outstanding anomaly.
a problem solver – someone with excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills along with an ability to understand complex applications and business rules.
Qualifications:
Up to 3 years testing experience
Post-secondary degree or diploma in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Software quality assurance exposure
Knowledge of blood establishment computer software is an asset
Knowledge of US FDA regulations is an asset
