| Job Title: Senior Building Technician (HVAC Automation Technician) |

As a result of our continued growth our client is looking for HVAC Automation Technicians for our Building Technologies division in Calgary. In this position, you will install, program, start-up and commission Building Automation Control systems on both new and upgraded installations. You will work within an in house team of Project Managers, Electricians and Engineers, as well as technicians from their Fire and Security divisions. Tasks will vary and will include items such as component installation, wiring checkout, system start-ups, programming, commissioning, graphic creation and database management. You may be called upon to coordinate with the electrical installation team or with electrical contractors and liaise with other contractors/sub-contractors or the client. You will complete commissioning reports on systems following the installation and start-up. Your input regarding changes, improvements to installed systems or processes will be valued and expected.
Responsibilities:

Your team will work within the project schedule and work package received from the project manager and maintain regular communication on the status and execution. You will participate in the site final walk through and to turnover to the service department. You may be called upon to conduct training and development classes for customers on site or at the branch and participate in site meetings
Qualifications:
Training will be provided either in-house, on the job or at our clients training centre in Chicago. Experience in HVAC building systems, electrical/electronics, controls and computers is required.
Optimum Skillsets and Competencies
The incumbent will be able to demonstrate the following characteristics:
Ø 2+ to 5 years of experience
Ø Management Experience Required – No
Ø Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree
