Job Title: TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE, Healthcare Industry Communications/Safety Solutions-Lower Mainland
Description


THE OPPORTUNITY

The Technical Sales Representative sells exclusive solutions to the senior and hospital healthcare markets within a territory that includes the Lower Mainland, North Coast, Vancouver Island and Alberta. This position offers the added advantage of working from your own home office. The scope of responsibilities includes:
- Manage territory to meet or exceed sales targets
- Cultivate new business through strategic selling principles and interactions with professional associations and conferences
- Update and maintain a contact management database of potential and active customers
- Manage sale from initial contact through to project management, training and after sales support
- Function as a team player, working with all company departments in a professional manor
- Develop a strong knowledge of the product lines offered, Industry and competitive environment
- Report to the Sales Manager, details of territory plan, monthly & quarterly sales updates and opportunities within and outside assigned territory


COMPENSATION

A competitive compensation package which includes salary, commission and car allowance providing for annual income of up to $75K+.


QUALIFICATIONS/KEY REQUIREMENTS

- At least 2 years previous sales experience is mandatory and there is a strong desire and preference for someone with a background in the healthcare industry
- Must be a self-starter, preferably with previous experience managing a territory from a home office
- University or college graduate in business or technical field
- Must have a technical aptitude and resourceful nature
- Must have PC skills including experience with MS Office. Familiarity of Maximizer would be an asset.
- Basic computer networking knowledge is desirable.
- Car and valid driver’s license are mandatory.
