JOB DESCRIPTION GRAPHIC ARTIST / DIGITAL PRINT OPERATER

Job Summary:
As our Graphic artist you will be responsible for all printing and website design and layout along with customer communication and proofing of all work before printing or publication
The Digital Print Operator will operate all copy centre equipment needed to produce complete customized jobs as per the customer request. You will be expected to coordinate all print jobs to ensure deadlines are met. You will perform quality checks throughout your process to ensure minimal waste and always look to improve the process. You will perform routine cleaning and maintenance of your equipment to ensure optimum performance and quality.
Responsibilities:
• Review work orders to determine job specifications
• Set up and make adjustments to printing machines
• Input codes and key in programming data
• Operate and monitor printing machines during print run
Operate and monitor vinyl/cutter/plotter
• Prep files to Adobe Acrobat, send to print cues.
• Ready to help with finishing duties: collating, stapling, folding & trimming.
Including delivery of finished material if required.
Skills:
· Handle Digital Files
· Reading Text
· Strong Oral Communication Skills
· Excellent Computer Skills
· Excellant knowledge of graphic design software is an essential (corel draw,all adobe programs ie: photoshop, illustrator.
· Basic Math Skills
· A Winning Attitude
· Energetic and Hard Working
· Attention To Detail /Good customer skills
Starting salary $18,200 reviewed in 3 months. Location Stewiacke Nova Scotia. Required immediately. Please send us your resume
