Role: Our client is currently seeking an experienced #
400670 IT System Admin (Contract) in Etobicoke, ON for a 6-12 months contract starting in July 2021. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of System Admin experience managing: Microsoft Windows Servers (2003, 2008, 2016, 2019), VMware environment (ESXi 6.5/7), Storage, Backup ( Veeam & Veritas) and Active Directory . Previous experience with Citrix, Horizon, and VDI would be a great asset. Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.

- Strong experience with managing Microsoft Windows Servers and Server applications (SQL/IIS)
- Strong experience with managing VMware (ESXi 6.5/7).
- Experience in backup (Veeam/Veritas) and storage management
- Experience with other virtualization technologies including Citrix, Horizon, and VDI would be a great asset.
- Experience with Linux servers (RedHat/Ubuntu/Centos) would be an asset
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
Education: - Degree/Certificate in Information Technology would be an asset.
- Active Technical certifications would be an asset.
