Role: Our Client is currently seeking an experienced #
400660 IT System Administrator - Linux (Contract) in Cambridge, ON for a 6 months contract starting in July 2021. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience as a System Admin in an enterprise level environment installing, configuring and administering Linux Servers (RedHat V6/7), VMware (ESXi 6.7). Experience with managing SAN Storage systems (HPE 3PAR and NetApp) would be a great asset. Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.

- Experience in installing, building and configuring Linux Servers (Red Hat 6/7)
- Experience with administration of VMware (ESXi 6.7)
- Experience with administration and support of SAN storage systems (HPE 3PAR and NetApp).
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite and Ansible would be a great asset.
- Experience with Python and Bash scripting
- Experience with HPE hardware support including ProLiant DL and SimpliVity HCI servers
- Other nice to have's:
- Backup Systems
- Cybersecurity
- Cloud services
- Container Technologies
- ITIL processes
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
Education: - Degree/Certificate in Information Technology or equivalent would be an asset
- Active Technical Certifications would be an asset
